Roofing in Decatur

Roofing for Decatur, Priceville and Hartselle

Across the river and down I-65: older neighborhoods with brick ranches and chimneys, the river-side homes, Priceville's new subdivisions, and hail that doesn't stop at the county line.

Decatur is a half-hour from our yard across the Tennessee River — the Old Decatur and Albany historic districts with their 1890s–1930s homes, the 1950s–80s brick ranches of Southwest Decatur and the neighborhoods off Beltline Road, the river-side homes along Point Mallard and the Flint, and the new subdivisions in Priceville toward Hartselle. Morgan County gets the same spring hail and straight-line wind as Madison County, and the older roofs here have more repairs behind them.

We serve Decatur and Priceville for replacements, storm claims, metal and repairs. City of Decatur permits inside the limits, Morgan County outside, Priceville and Hartselle their own; the historic districts have review for visible material. Chimney and flashing work on the brick ranches is a specialty; so are the hail claims on the newer Priceville roofs.

Questions from Decatur homeowners

Do you really come to Decatur?

Yes, for replacements, storm claims and anything with a crew day in it. Small repairs are scheduled with other work on that side of the river.

What are the historic-district rules?

Review for visible roof material and color in Old Decatur and Albany; like-for-like replacement and repairs generally don't need it. We submit when required.

Who pulls the permit?

City of Decatur inside the limits, Morgan County outside, and Priceville and Hartselle inside theirs.

Do you handle hail claims in Priceville?

Yes — the newer subdivisions there have the same builder-grade roofs and the same hail as Madison, and the claims work is identical.
